Malcolm Reed had just closed his eyes when he heard singing from the next cell.
*“You’ll be doin’ all right, with your Christmas of white...”*
He turned over and looked at his cell mate, Travis Mayweather, “If he doesn’t stop that, I’m going to kill him.”
*“But I’ll have a blue, blue blue blue Christmas.”*
“SHUT UP, TRIP!”
Tucker yelled back, “Just because YOU want to sit in your cell and mope, doesn’t mean some of us can’t find a way to celebrate. It is Christmas!”
There was the crackle of static and Shran’s voice came over the intercom, “We don’t know what this “Christmas” is but we heard the pink skin’s song and found it most enjoyable.”
Soon, Elvis Presley’s version of "Blue Christmas" could be heard throughout the ship.
